Wireline Entry Guide Wireline Tool String
Ⅰ.Introduction
Wireline Entry Guide is a type of contactor to guide the tool string to enter into small drift diameter
from large drift diameter in the entering process, which usually is connected with the lowest end of tool string.

III. Structural features
1. The top of the guide is external thread (or quick male joint) and fishing neck and the bottom is a guiding
cone.
2. The guide can guide the tool string to enter into small drift diameter from a major-diameter pipe in the
entering process to guarantee the tool can enter into the well smoothly.
3.Some guides have outer overflowing grooves to guarantee the overflowing in the entering process.
